This chili is super easy to throw together, tastes delicious and is nutrient dense! It is a favorite winter meal!!
Ingredients:
2 lbs ground beef
1 large diced yellow onion
1 large diced bell pepper
1 tbsp butter
1 can kidney beans
1 can tomato sauce
1 can diced tomatoes
¼ cup chili powder
1 tbsp cumin
1 tsp ground coriander
1 tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
½ tsp cayenne pepper
Directions: in a large skillet heat butter over medium heat. Add ground beef, bell peppers, and onions . Cook until browned and tender. Add garlic and cook for 2 more minutes. Dump into crockpot and add remaining ingredients. Cook on low for 7 to 8 hours. Top with shredded cheddar and sour cream and serve with MASA chips
