How to Use:

Our Tallow Quality Promise
We do not use commercially purchased or deodorized tallow. Many mass-produced tallow products are rendered at very high temperatures, then deodorized and sometimes bleached to remove natural scent and color. This process strips away many of the delicate, skin-loving nutrients that make real tallow so beneficial in the first place.
At Herb House Apothecary, we use only pure suet, never meat trimmings, sourced from a trusted local farm right here in Central New York. We render it ourselves in small batches at low, controlled temperatures to preserve its natural integrity, vitamins, and fatty acid profile. Every jar is handcrafted in our home with care, intention, and respect for the animal.
This is real, traditional tallow, the way it was meant to be.
A Note About Summer Heat:
Please note this is a natural, tallow and oil-based product. With warmer weather, keep it out of direct sunlight or hot cars just in case, and get to your mailbox ASAP. it’s still fully usable if softened, just stick it in a cool location to firm it back up. Consistency will change in high or low temperatures. this is a natural, oil-based product with no stabilizers or fillers!

Really love this product but it has become quite pricey….
This stuff is the best! I put it in my arms and legs every morning. It makes them soft and hydrated the whole day!!! My new favorite!!!
I have been unable to adequately put castor oil in my skincare routine. It has always been too sticky, but the long-lasting moisture from castor oil added to tallow is next level. Face Restore and Blossom Balm have successfully and beautifully combined tallow & castor oil, and my skin LOVES it. Dare I say, this 64-year old woman has glowing skin again.

I don’t have pictures but I do have a testimony!! When I would wake up in the morning my skin in my arms and legs would be flaky and dry Since I’ve been using the tallow oil on arms legs and face the dryness and flakes are gone I also love the scent and love knowing there are no toxious ingredients. This is very moisturizing but be aware it is different than traditional lotions. I pat it in various places on my body and then briefly rub it in with small circles. I like the ingredients, so it’s worth it to me!
I bought the Tallow Blossom for my daughters-in-law for a Mother's Day gift. They loved it. We all applied the tallow to our hands, it absorbed really well and smelled lovely. No beef smell to it at all.

Love the texture and the smell. It's a godsend for winter dry /mature skin. Use nightly on my face and doesn't cause break outs. Great stuff!
I put it on every night after I wash my face. My skin feels soft, haven't noticed much with my crows feet but it has only been a short time. Took me a little bit to get used to the smell, but it is fine. I do warm it a little before putting it on so it goes on much smoother and easier to spread.
I absolutely love my Tallow & Castor Oil Blossom Balm. After using exclusively castor oil as a facial moisturizer for over a year now, the tallow and added essential oils were just what my skin needed to be soft, clear, and smooth. Highly recommend this product!
I was nervous that I wouldn't like the smell. I know the benefits of tallow are amazing but the smell is sometimes not for me. But this is nice! I know and feel I am getting all the benefits and I don't feel like I smell like tallow! The texture is smooth and not overly greasy! I give an A+.
